SQS, one more year, at the Mobile World Congress

Between the 26th February  and the 1st of March , the Mobile World Congress was held in Barcelona and one more year SQS was there presenting our set of services for the telecommunications industry.

In words of Begoña Laibarra, general manager of SQS, MWC is for us an unavoidable appointment every year: it helps us to establish business contacts of great value for the future, and is “inspiring and very motivating” for the company. “we have known new needs in the sector which will help us to adapt our offer to the  market, “says Laibarra. “The connected world, 5G or mobiles among others, need the quality and security to access the market in a faster and safer way”.

We are a specialised software testing and quality company, carrying out verification and validation activities for all types of systems, domains and environments, so our participation in the MWC has been an excellent way for us to know trends and adapt our offer to the existing market needs. For example, within our range of services, we test artificial intelligence systems and machine learning, this is a trend that the market is demanding and where we have enormous potential, especially due to our experience in tests automation.

In terms of mobile tests, we have a service developed by us, Q-Mobile, which allows us to offer a certification service for mobile applications and which is traditionally very well received by our visitors at the MWC booth. Another of our outstanding services during this congress has been the 24×7 monitoring platform. This is an ideal service for those companies that want to know in a simple and economic way the main metrics that determine the quality of their presence on the Internet.

Our visitors also showed great interest in the service that we offer as accredited laboratory according to UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 for load and performance testing. These tests will help us to predict the behavior of the system and, in addition, the methodology of the SQS Laboratory has the guarantee of a proven and accredited quality.

Therefore, and summarising, we value our participation this year in MWC as a success since we have returned to our work in the offices of SQS with new ideas, potential new lines of business to develop and future new customers.

SQS visita, una edición más, el Mobile World Congress

Entre el 26 de febrero y el 1 de marzo se celebró, en Barcelona, el Mobile World Congress. Un año más SQS estuvo presente con un stand donde presentamos nuestro conjunto de servicios para la industria de las telecomunicaciones.

En palabras de Begoña Laibarra, gerente de SQS, MWC es para nosotros una cita ineludible año tras año pues, además de permitirnos establecer contactos comerciales de gran valor para el futuro, resulta para la empresa “inspirador y muy motivador. Las necesidades del sector que estamos viendo estos días nos van a ayudar mucho a la hora de adaptar nuestra oferta a las necesidades del mercado”, señala Laibarra. “El mundo conectado, el 5G, los móviles… todo ello necesita de la calidad y la seguridad para acceder de forma más rápida y segura al mercado”.

Somos una empresa especializada en pruebas y calidad de SW. Hacemos actividades de verificación y validación para todo tipo de sistemas, dominios y entornos por ello nuestras participaciones en MWC han sido para nosotros una excelente manera de conocer tendencias y adaptarnos a las necesidades existentes del mercado. Por ejemplo, dentro de nuestra oferta de servicios, probamos sistemas de inteligencia artificial y machine learning, esta es una tendencia que el mercado está demandando y donde nosotros tenemos un enorme potencial, especialmente, por nuestra experiencia en la automatización de pruebas.

En cuanto a las pruebas en móviles, contamos con una herramienta desarrollada por nosotros, Q-Mobile, que nos permite ofrecer un servicio de certificación de aplicaciones móviles y que tradicionalmente es muy bien acogido por nuestros visitantes en el stand de MWC. Otro de nuestros servicios destacados durante este congreso ha sido la plataforma de monitorización 24×7. Este es un servicio ideal para aquellas empresas que desean conocer de una manera sencilla y económica las principales métricas que determinan la calidad de su presencia en Internet.

Igualmente nuestros visitantes mostraron mucho interés en el servicio que ofrecemos como laboratorio acreditado según UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 para la realización de pruebas de carga y rendimiento. Estas pruebas nos ayudarán a predecir el comportamiento del sistema y conocer el grado en que realiza las funciones para las que ha sido diseñado sin pérdidas de servicio y con un tiempo de respuesta óptimo y estable y, además, la metodología del Laboratorio de SQS cuenta con la garantía de una calidad demostrada y acreditada.

Por lo tanto, y a modo de resumen, nuestra participación este año en Mobile World Congress la valoramos como un éxito puesto que nos ha permitido volver a nuestro trabajo en las oficinas de SQS con nuevas ideas, potenciales nuevos líneas de negocio a desarrollar y futuros nuevos clientes.
